THE NEW 3500 SERIES ALUMINUM TRUCK BED
Another aluminum bed model has joined the Hillsboro truck bed line-up. Production of the 3500 Series Aluminum Bed has begun. The Best In Class Qualities and Features found on the 2500 and 3000 Series aluminum truck beds have expanded to include, skirting and underbody tool boxes.
As usual, the new features do more than just look great; they perform a function that benefits the owner, above and beyond what the economy aluminum truck beds have to offer. One of the biggest benefits is storage capacity. Hillsboro’s 96 X 112 / 3500 Series Bed has 18.4 cubic feet of storage in comparison to competitors 9.1 cubic feet.
The durability of the 3500 is enhanced by using .125 thickness aluminum sheet material for skirting and tool boxes compared to the .100 used by the competition. Heavy duty extrusions added in the tail board for additional strength and 3” I-beam crossmembers under the extruded plank floor puts this bed in Best Of Class.
Hillsboro has no fear of putting a 3 Year Warranty on the Aluminum Construction and a 2 year warranty on painted components of any of our aluminum truck beds, in comparison to much of the competitions 1 year on aluminum construction and 90 days on paint.
When a customer is searching for an aluminum truck bed to put on their pride and joy to restore or just left the dealership with a brand new $65,000 truck, they will be making a choice of which bed to purchase. What will be their number one goal be, to buy the cheapest, or will they consider value?
Hillsboro “WILL NEVER” design, build, and market any products for the purpose of being able to boast that we have the cheapest pricing. We want to be known for building the best! It’s not all about production numbers to Hillsboro. Our greatest reward is having employees smile with pride as another Hillsboro is rolled out the door and the retail customer is proud to say, I bought a Hillsboro!
Our engineering tests include thousands of hours of shaking and material torture tests, taking them way beyond what they will see in life’s daily use. If we were fearful of material and product failures by retail customers and having a high volume of warranty claims, we would be forced to lower our warranty standards. We will not lower our standards!
