Marlin Funk retires after 47 years of service at Hillsboro Industries. He spent most of his time since 1967 at the punch press in Fabrication, but was once the bracket technician for our previous drill hitch products. The drill hitch was used to sow wheat with dual drills that travel in a line on the highway, but swing out parallel in the field with a unique bracket. Each bracket needed to be hand placed, and Marlin was the man to do it with careful precision and attention to detail. Now Marlin is keeping busy with his farm and spending time with family. To thank him for almost 50 years of loyalty to Hillsboro, the shop presented him with a new Aluminum Utility trailer. We are very thankful for everything Marlin has done for Hillsboro in his time here.
